The Pumpkin Patch
Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the crispness of the air, the smell of grapes, and the changing of the leaves. An annual tradition we have as a family is to go to the vineyard pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins. I don't know when this started, but as long as I can remember we have been going down there. This year felt different though. Usually I have been going as the child (yes my mom still buys me a pumpkin even though I am almost 27). However, this year I was going as the parent with my own child. It will be fun when Liam is old enough to run around and pick his own pumpkin as opposed to being held and being a pumpkin himself.

Rolling Over
Despite the fact that he is only 5 weeks old, Liam can roll from his tummy to his back. At first I didn't know if it was just a fluke or not, but he has made it a consistent pattern. Tummy time is not so productive now, because he gets himself onto his back.

Nicknames
You would think that Liam Hadd Patrick Ellis would be enough names for one little guy, but no. He has more nicknames then anyone I know. In no particular order here are the names Liam gets called by: Buddy, Honey, Monkey, Kitty Cat, Squidge, Squidgey, Booger Face, Scoobie, Pumpkin, Grunter Boy, Muffin, Honey Boy, Dude, and Little Man.

Liam's One Month
It's not every day that you turn one month old. Liam celebrated being one month yesterday October 3rd. It was hard to imagine that one whole month had passed since he was born. I have included a picture of what I looked like 3 days before he was born. I can't even remember him being in my belly thank goodness. We celebrated with cupcakes and ice cream. The whole Ellis clan came to celebrate with us. Thanks guys. The guest of honor decided to fall asleep 15 minutes before the guests arrived, so he missed his party. He couldn't have eaten a cupcake anyway so I guess it was good that he missed it so he wouldn't be sad.
